Very quickly, I discovered that I loved helping others learn, so I decided to make it my career! To me, there is nothing more inspiring than seeing someone finally "get it"! I enjoy using a variety of learning strategies and approaches to help each individual learner succeed. My passion is continually reinvigorated by the successes of my students and clients. Teaching may not be glamorous, but it's certainly rewarding!! I am originally from Chicago, and spent my college years studying at Saint Xavier University. Hobbies
In my free time (which is rare!), I love spending time with my husband and our two dogs. We love to go hiking and kayaking, and trying out new places to eat. I also love gardening and cooking. My fresh veggies work their way into most of my meals. I enjoy traveling and exploring! My favorite city is New Orleans...there's something very magical about the history, culture, food, and music all melding together. My upcoming travel goals include: Jamaica, Boston, and hiking a portion of the Appalachian trail. Finally, I am an avid runner. I ran the 2015 Indy Mini Marathon, and am currently training for the 2015 Monumental Full Marathon. Yes, I'm one of those crazy runners. :)
